Brembo GT rear big brake kit for the 964 Turbo: four-piston cast monobloc calipers, 345x28mm two-piece floating rotors on aluminium hats, kit-matched pads, stainless braided lines and vehicle-specific mounting brackets. Built to run behind a Brembo front package so the car keeps the brake bias Brembo engineered into the system - on a rear-engined 911 the rear axle carries more of the load than most cars, which is exactly why a matched rear is worth doing.
Verified fitment
1991-1994 Porsche 964 Turbo and 964 Turbo 3.6. Rear axle only. Pairs with the Brembo 355x32 front kits for the same chassis.
Choosing your rotor face
Drilled gives the pad a fresh edge to bite on with every revolution, helps push water off the disc face in the wet, and vents the gases a hot pad gives off. It is also the classic look through an open wheel.
Slotted keeps the casting continuous, so there is more uninterrupted material in the disc under sustained heat, and the slots sweep glaze off the pad face as it wears in. Cars that see repeated hard stops or track days generally end up on slotted; street and show builds often prefer drilled.
Type-1 vs Type-3 is slot geometry, not a performance grade. Type-1 runs longer, shallower-angled slots; Type-3 a shorter, more frequent pattern. Choose on appearance - most owners match the rear to whatever they chose up front.
Choosing your caliper colour
Colour is cosmetic only - caliper body, pistons, seals, pads, rotors and hardware are identical across all four finishes, and the powdercoat is applied by Brembo before assembly. Black hides brake dust, red reads as "Brembo" at a glance, silver suits a polished wheel, and yellow is the loudest of the four.
