Brembo GT front big brake kit for the 993: four-piston two-piece cast calipers, 355x32mm two-piece floating rotors on aluminium hats, kit-matched pads, stainless braided lines and vehicle-specific mounting brackets. Everything in the box is engineered together as one system rather than assembled from parts that merely fit.
Verified fitment
1995-1998 Porsche 911 993 C2, C4, C4S and Turbo. Front axle only. Check wheel clearance against the Brembo template before ordering - a 355mm rotor is tight behind period 17in wheels. Brembo also lists a 332mm front kit for the C2/C4 and a 380mm for the wider cars; those are different kits.
Choosing your rotor face
Drilled gives the pad a fresh edge to bite on with every revolution, helps push water off the disc face in the wet, and vents the gases a hot pad gives off. It is also the classic look through an open wheel.
Slotted keeps the casting continuous, so there is more uninterrupted material in the disc under sustained heat, and the slots sweep glaze off the pad face as it wears in. Cars that see repeated hard stops or track days generally end up on slotted; street and show builds often prefer drilled.
Type-1 vs Type-3 is slot geometry, not a performance grade. Type-1 runs longer, shallower-angled slots; Type-3 a shorter, more frequent pattern. Choose on appearance.
Choosing your caliper colour
Colour is cosmetic only - caliper body, pistons, seals, pads, rotors and hardware are identical across the three finishes, and the powdercoat is applied by Brembo before assembly. Black hides brake dust, red reads as "Brembo" at a glance, and silver suits a polished or silver wheel.
