Road & Track and DFV Coilovers
The Öhlins Road & Track series is the most popular street setup — a height-adjustable coilover that retains genuine driving comfort while dramatically improving cornering response and body control. DFV (Dual Flow Valve) technology is what sets Öhlins apart from competitors: it uses separate oil flow paths for compression and rebound, allowing the damper to respond correctly to both small road imperfections and large suspension movements simultaneously. This is something conventional single-flow coilovers cannot replicate, and it's the reason Öhlins delivers a ride quality that feels both sporty and composed.
Application & Installation
Öhlins offers specific kits engineered and tested for Porsche 911 (991, 992, 997), BMW M2, M3, M4, and other European platforms. Each kit is developed in-house at Öhlins and comes with full setup documentation.
