Load Range C is the lightest of the common light-truck ranges, and on a 33X10.50R15 that is a deliberate choice rather than a compromise. A C-range casing runs a lower maximum pressure and weighs less than a D or an E, so it flexes more readily when aired down and rides better on a short-wheelbase 4x4 that is never going to carry a tonne in the back.

Do not fit C range to a vehicle whose placard calls for D or E; the capacity difference is real.

114R gives 2,601 lb per tyre at its rated pressure, to 106 mph. This is a light-truck all-terrain for small four-wheel-drive vehicles, not a quad or side-by-side tyre. Available to order at Rev Auto Club.
