The Clutch Masters FX100 is a Stage 1 street clutch kit for the M52/M54-powered BMW E46 3 Series, E39 5 Series, Z3, 2003 Z4 2.5i and E53 X5 3.0i with the 5-speed manual gearbox. This 03049-HD00-D version uses a dampened (sprung-hub) disc and is designed to be paired with an aftermarket single-mass flywheel.

Verified fitment: 2000 BMW 323i, 2001-2003 325i/325Ci/325xi (5-speed), 1999-2000 328i/328Ci, 2001-2003 330i/330Ci/330xi (5-speed), 2001-2003 525i (5-speed), 1999-2000 528i, 2001-2003 530i, 2001-2005 X5 3.0i, 1999-2002 Z3 2.5/3.0 and 2003 Z4 2.5i 5-speed, per Clutch Masters. Not for M models.

Clutch Masters rates the FX100 at roughly 70% more holding capacity than stock thanks to its heavy-duty pressure plate and steel-backed organic friction disc, while keeping pedal effort close to factory. It is the right choice if you have added intake, exhaust or a tune and want a clutch that will not slip but still drives like an OEM unit in traffic. The kit includes the release bearing, pilot bearing where applicable and an alignment tool.
