The Cometic C4293-036 is a three-layer MLS cylinder head gasket for the BMW M10B18 and M10B20 four-cylinder, machined to a 90 mm bore with a .036 in compressed thickness.

Verified fitment: 1966-1974 BMW 2002 (including Cabriolet, tii and 1973-1974 Turbo) and 1972 BMW 2000 / 2000tii. Check your bore and required thickness before ordering.

The thinner .036 in section is a common choice when the head or block has been surfaced and compression needs to be brought back toward spec on a rebuilt M10. Multi-layer stainless steel with a Viton coating installs dry with no sealant.
