Injen 00-06 Mini Cooper L4-1.6L Black IS Short Ram Cold Air Intake System

Injen builds this IS-series short ram system as a bolt-in replacement for the restrictive factory airbox on the first-generation Mini Cooper. The kit uses a black powder-coated aluminium tube routed to a high-flow filter, and it carries CARB EO D-476-5 for street legality.

Verified fitment: Confirmed for 2002-2006 Mini Cooper Base and 2002-2006 Mini Cooper S. Note that the distributor fitment table also lists 2021 Toyota Tundra trims, which is a supplier data error and does not apply to this part.

On a 1.6-litre four the intake tract is short to begin with, so freeing up the filter and inlet path is one of the few inexpensive ways to sharpen throttle response. It also puts induction noise where you can hear it, which is half the reason people modify these cars in the first place.
