The more aggressive of ALTA's two reduction pulleys, this 17 percent unit drives the R53 supercharger harder again than the 15 percent version.

Verified fitment: 2002-2008 Mini Cooper S.

Stepping up to the larger reduction is really a decision about how far the rest of the car has been taken. Intercooling, fuelling and tune all have to keep up, and a bigger step at the pulley makes those supporting parts matter more, not less - owners with a built supporting package usually end up here, while a stock car often does not.
