The Bilstein B8 Performance Plus front left strut assembly (part 22-232229) is a direct-fit performance strut for the first-generation Mercedes-AMG CLA45. It is designed for cars without the optional electronic suspension and is a shortened damper meant to work with lowering springs.

Verified fitment: 2014-2019 Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG 4Matic. Front left (driver side) unit.

The CLA45 carries a lot of power through its front axle, and the B8 gives the front end the extra damping control it needs to put that power down cleanly out of corners once the car sits lower. It uses Bilstein's twintube gas-pressure design with a fixed spring seat, ready to accept the factory or aftermarket spring. Limited lifetime warranty.
