Brembo GT-R front big brake kit for the E65 7-Series: six-piston billet monobloc calipers, 380x34mm two-piece floating rotors on aluminium hats, kit-matched pads, stainless braided lines and vehicle-specific mounting brackets. A heavy car benefits from the extra thermal mass of a 34mm-thick rotor, and the billet caliper resists the flex a large pad area otherwise induces.
Verified fitment
2002-2005 BMW 7-Series (E65), through 3/2005 production only. Later-production cars use different front hardware, so confirm your build date before ordering. Front axle only. Check wheel clearance against the Brembo template.
Choosing your rotor face
Drilled gives the pad a fresh edge to bite on with every revolution, helps push water off the disc face in the wet, and vents the gases a hot pad gives off. It is also the classic look through an open wheel.
Slotted keeps the casting continuous, so there is more uninterrupted material in the disc under sustained heat, and the slots sweep glaze off the pad face as it wears in. Cars that see repeated hard stops or track days generally end up on slotted; street and show builds often prefer drilled.
Type-1 vs Type-3 is slot geometry, not a performance grade. Type-1 runs longer, shallower-angled slots; Type-3 a shorter, more frequent pattern. Choose on appearance.
