Choosing your rotor face
All three faces use the same caliper, the same 405x34mm rotor and the same hardware. The only difference is the working surface, and it is a real trade-off rather than a styling choice:

Drilled — cross-drilled holes clear water and pad gases quickly and give the most immediate bite from cold. The classic Porsche look through an open wheel. Best suited to road use and show cars.

Slotted Type-1 — a slot pattern instead of holes. There is more continuous material across the face, which is the more forgiving choice under repeated heavy braking, and the slots keep the pad surface clean.

Slotted Type-3 — an alternative slot geometry. Same functional intent as Type-1; pick on appearance and on which pattern you prefer through the wheel spokes.
If the Cayenne tows, carries weight, or sees track or mountain-descent use, the slotted faces are the safer default. For a road car where the wheels are clean and the brakes are on show, drilled is the traditional answer.
