The Clutch Masters FX100 03049-HD00-R is a Stage 1 street clutch kit with a rigid (unsprung) disc, built to run on the factory dual-mass flywheel in 5-speed BMW E46 3 Series, E39 5 Series, Z3, 2003 Z4 2.5i and E53 X5 3.0i models.

Verified fitment: 2000 BMW 323i, 2001-2003 325i/325Ci/325xi (5-speed), 1999-2000 328i/328Ci, 2001-2003 330i/330Ci/330xi (5-speed), 2001-2003 525i (5-speed), 1999-2000 528i, 2001-2003 530i, 2001-2005 X5 3.0i, 1999-2002 Z3 2.5/3.0 and 2003 Z4 2.5i 5-speed, per Clutch Masters. Not for M models.

Because the rigid disc relies on the OEM dual-mass flywheel for damping, this is the straightforward upgrade if you are keeping the stock flywheel: bolt-in installation, quieter driveline than a single-mass conversion, and about 70% more clamping capacity than the factory clutch from the heavy-duty pressure plate and steel-backed organic disc. Release bearing, pilot bearing where applicable and alignment tool are included.
