Cometic C4558-060 is a five-layer MLS head gasket for the 1.8L 20-valve turbo EA827 engine found in the B5 Audi A4, Mk1 Audi TT and their Volkswagen siblings. It carries an 82mm bore, the stock bore for this engine, and a .060in compressed thickness.

Choose this gasket when you are rebuilding a 1.8T on a stock or lightly overbored block and want to sit slightly thicker than factory to trim compression for added boost. The Viton-coated outer layers seal against varied surface finishes and the stainless construction holds up to the heat and cylinder pressure of a turbocharged four-cylinder.
